One Busy Day

Kelvey went to bed early tonight so I thought I would take a moment to update. Today was a very eventful day and looking back pretty funny. Kelvey had her 9 month pictures today so I knew we had to get moving this morning. Of course little princess wasn't ready to get up so I went ahead and got ready trying to make a bunch of noise only to wake her up, but she would not. SO I finally had to wake her up, mistake number one. Then I tried to get some cereal in her so she would have a full belly and be happy for pictures. Of course today she decided she wasn't hungry, so in the tub we went. That went fine. Got her dresses and tried to fit in a quick nursing session before G.G. came. We headed out and the pictures went pretty well for a baby that wanted to explore and she was probably a little hungry. Next G.G. and I decided to stop and feed ourselves, Kelvey still wouldn't take a minute to eat(just too busy). While we were waiting for our food I noticed she was a little smelly but thought she could wait. (Remember we are smack dab in the middle of cutting the top two teeth.) She starting getting a little fussy so I got her out of the high chair and right away noticed my arm was wet. I looked over at G.G. and I could tell by the look on her face that something wasn't right. I looked and yes there was poop all over her and me. She hasn't done that in months. So now what, I thought! I took her into the bathroom, stripped her down, got her a clean as possible, and tried to get my self clean all the while she is screaming and every women in the bathroom is looking and commenting. Now we are semi clean and head out to the car with only a diaper on walking through the restaurant to get a change of clothes. All I had were dresses she wore in pictures so I put a slip on and went back to eat with very little appetite. Needless to say I could not wait to get home and shower off that smell. That is one reason Kelvey was in the bed before sun down. We are exhausted! I wish I would had only thought to get a pic. Oh well.
