12 Month Check-up

Kelvey had her 12 month check-up yesterday and she did great. She had to get several shots and they had to prick her finger. She screamed when she got her shots but got over it fairly quickly when Daddy gave her some puffs. That girl would eat puffs all day if you let her. AS for her weight she is still on the small side. 17 pounds and 28 1/4 inches long. So I guess the car seat will stay turned for awhile longer. After her appointment we went to eat dinner and them home to get to bed early. She had a little cold last week so sleep as been pretty unpredictable but no problems the last two night so let's hope we are back to normal. She seems to be waking up earlier but I will take it as long as she doesn't wake up 5 times during the night. She is not walking yet and doesn't show much interest. She pulls up on everything but walking is not a priority for her. Why try something new when I can get there faster crawling. She is still nursing once or twice a day but showing some progress in letting that go. I have mixed feeling about it but it's time to stop. Since she as been sick it is the only thing she will take to get fluids down her but she is doing much better with a sippy cup this week. maybe by the end of the week she will transition completely to a sippy cup. Other than that things are going great. I guess that is all. I will get some new pictures soon.
