I know many of you are eager for an update and wondering where in the world is Stacey. To be honest I have no idea what my problem is. I have to say I have no excuse just having fun. We have been dealing with a cold, then ear infection on top of teething and who know what else. I celebrated a birthday at the beginning of October, maybe I am in morning over having only one more year in the 20's.
Kelvey and I have been busy after we finally got her well. We have been to the zoo, had some visits from Grana and have even made it up to see her in Knoxville. Grana has been very busy sewing fall and winter clothes for Kelvey and others and I have become a bit out of control asking Grana to do so much. But I love and I know she loves it too. If only the weather would be cool enough for her to wear some of it. Don't get me wrong the weather has been great but summer is over people. I am ready for fall. Not so much winter but fall in the 60's sounds good to me. You watch we will probably skip right over fall and go straight to winter.
Like a already mentioned two weeks ago Kelvey and I enjoyed a long weekend in Knoxville with my mom and Troy. Last weekend we went to Kentucky and had fun hanging out with Ron's family. It took almost all weekend for Kelvey to go to Papa but once she did she didn't want anyone else. It was funny. Which brings me to our last issue. STRANGERS!!!! It is bad. It takes her forever to go to anyone she doesn't see often and I am worn out with the whining. I hope this stage ends soon but there is no sign of that happening. Oh well the girl lovers her mommy!!
Here is what Kelvey has started doing recently and no walking is not one of them. She love to copy some things. She tries to make the noises you make. Tonight she roared so funny. She loves trying to do things on her own and when she can't figure it out she will bring it to you to help. She loves washing her hands in the sink. She will pretend to use lotion/soap when she finds a lotion bottle. She is showing signs of standing on her own but you have to trick her to do it. Give her an object to hold and stand her up and she will stand but only if her mind is on something else. Tonight she stood up several times in the tub which makes me nervous! And last thing I can think of is she will help put her bath toys away when bath time is over. She thinks its a game. How long will that last????
Well I know I babbled a lot but remember this also serves as a journal for me so that I can look back as well. Have a great rest of the week
