Learning everyday

It is only 1:00 and it has already been a big day for Kelvey. We started off the day with mommy getting into the shower and she decided she wanted to take a shower today and since she was about to take a bath anyway I got her undressed to experience the shower. She was not sure she like the water hitting her in the face the entire time and was glad when she got to change over to the bathtub. As I was getting her out of the tub I turned to get a towel and she was standing up in the tub. It's amazing to be how one day she is not pulling up at all and all of a sudden this week she is pulling up on everything. Thank goodness I had the camera nearby and she did it again for me. I wasn't as lucky the next time. After she got out of the tub I decided to rearrange her room. Something I thought about last night when I couldn't sleep. I turned around and she was playing in her bookshelf standing up with no hands. First time ever!! She may be walking by her birthday after all, I can't believe it!! I then had to put her in her crib so I could move things without her getting stuck under something and she was very unhappy but she stood up in her crib. It's like she just gets it one day and there is not stopping her! I love seeing her do these new things but I still get sad when I see that my little baby isn't a baby anymore. Where does the time go. Oh and way to they catch on to the thing you don't want them to learn yet and the things you want them to do they don't. For example we have been working on drinking out of a sippy cup for what seems like forever, and she still doesn't have that down. And sign language for another example I can sign all day long and she just laughs. I guess one day she will get that too.

Yeah!!!

Hey what's up here?

I want out of here!!!

Look at these books!

Kelvey is so cute! You are so right on them not getting the things we have been working on. Keep doing the signs though...it has just clicked with Alex the last month or so and I felt like I had been doing them forever. Granted, he doesn't always use them the correct way but he does the sign after I say the word:) It is so good to see pics of your family! I hope y'all are doing good!
