Kinley has hit some milestones this week. She is now smiling and it is so sweet! She mainly smiles at me or sometimes Kelvey but it is hard to get on camera. Then just yesterday her umbilical cord FINALLY feel off. I know what your thinking it took 7 weeks, that's a long time, I know . I thought the dumb thing would never come off, but I am so glad it is gone. So last night she got her first bath in the big tub. It was so much better than those sponge baths and easier. She is sort of taking a foo foo or a paci but not to often. I have bought every kind possible but there are two she does pretty well with. I have to take them out of her mouth when she falls asleep or she gags on then. Her sleeping habits are all over the place. The other night she slept 6 hours but it was on her stomach so I slept very little. I was up often checking to make sure she was breathing. Then the next night she is back to eating every three hours. She is wearing me out with the inconsistency. Oh well we will get there soon enough I hope?

7 weeks
This is mainly Kinley's post but I have to report Kelvey's big milestone also. She is officially Foo Foo(sp?) free for a week now. There is no going back now! She does wake up earlier without it but hopefully she will get back to sleeping late soon. Her teeth are giving us so problems. I decided last Wednesday night that I better try to wean her while I have Daddy home to deal with her at night and in the morning in case I don't get any sleep between the two then. So anyways to make a long story short she is doing great. She did it with no crying the first two night, made it camping with no problem, and then we got home and it got harder. She does cry some going to sleep but each night gets easier. I figure if she can make it camping without it then we aren't going back. She does ask for it every now in then at bedtime but we just say foo foo is gone. So yippee one more thing down that I have been dreading. I guess I will have to tackle potty training next. YUCK!! Any advice!

I think Kinley has her own look definitely! And I DREAD the day where I have to take Kaylor's pacifier away! I can't imagine!!
