Kelvey had her first day of Mother's day out yesterday. I was a little nervous but she did great. She cried for about five minutes and then was playing and painting and having fun. Kinley and I stayed close just in case but I was able to get several errands done that I couldn't have done with her very easily. It was weird not having her with us but kind of nice just to have one child for the day. I feel a little guilty saying that but some days mom just needs a small break. I think this is something she and I will both enjoy once we get use to it. She made the best painting I ever saw from a two year old(haha) and she was so proud of it! Kelvey is a very shy little girl so I couldn't help but worry and think about her all day. But now I know she can do it and have fun. I am so proud of her! I just hate that she is growing up before my eyes. Sometimes I wish I could slow time down. I didn't get many pictures taken because we were running late, so I thought, but I think next week we don't have to rush so much. Enjoy!

I know how you feel. Beckym is now old enough to go to Children's Day Out but I am not ready to send him yet. I hope to be able to by summer though so I can have some alone time with the other two boys. I'm glad she did well because that always helps mommy out in sending her. I hope she continues to like it for your sake.
Good job mommy! Everyone needs a break...Kelvey even needs a break from mommy and sissy. I'm so glad to hear you want to slow your life down now, most times I hear that time is going way too slow when children are young. It doesn't ever get better than these days...so glad you see that!
Love her outfit!
